Hi there. I happen to own a nice vintage painorgan branded Sonette. Though it doesn't say Farfissa, it is most likely made by Farfisa, as it have italian writing at the back. Looks very similar to Painorgan 2, but with some differences. If anyone interested to have a look at the pics, let me know how to upload them or where to send them. Cheers.

Hi,
I'm hoping you will take the time and trouble to help us out.
I also own a farfisa wha/vol pedal, pulled it out of storage a couple of years ago, set it up for a quick test on guitar, it
seemed to work after 20 years of non use, so I immediately began to clean it up, and in the process some of the tender
wiring connections came apart, I can't read schematics, though I've tried to locate one for someone else to repair, no luck on that front, I took it to electronics repair centre of reknown, after 3 months I had to collect cos they were stumped...(as if they really tried) so I'm hoping like hell you could open up your one and take the best photo's you possibly can, so I copy the locations to where these wires need to re-connect to. If you're ok with that, and you could email to me, well I'd be grateful....(though I don't how I could be....maybe I'll say a prayer for you....lol)
my email is joejam@tpg.com.au

I have to part with my keyboard. It is in excellent shap. All keys work, all sliders work. I have the original carrying case, its not ripped, great shape also.
It does need a new wire soldered in between the connections for the foot pedal, I have the foot pedal and the original pin connectors. I posted a you tube video so you can see and hear this keyboard,
I have seen 2 of these keyboards sell for 1200.00 dollars.
I am asking $950.00 firm for this vintage keyboard, will not ship, its too priceless to have the shipping companys bang it around.
Can be seen:

Hi, I just bought a farfisa compact duo an frankly, I am in love with it!

But there are some problems. For example: on the upper manual, there are some tone stops settings that doesn't work for a whole octave. I mean, there are 12 keys from C to B (from one octave) that, when using only 16' Bass, doesn't sound at all, BUT if you use 8' (for example) they do sound. This happens on some of the upper manual and multi tone booster tone stops, but they all have this problem on the same 12 keys. Those are the only 12 keys that have this problem. lower manual works perfectly on its 3 tone stops.
Also, percussion works only for the bass manuals, but for upper and lower it doesn't. Do I have to replace the bulb?

I also would like to tweak it so the bass manuals cover a lower octave. I mean, I want to move their pitch down a whole octave (from f to f/2) so the bass pedals and manuals sound deeper. I don't know if that's even possible. I studied the schematics and noticed that maybe if I do that, the lower keys on the upper manual will lower their pitch too. Am I right?

Well, thanks a lot for your help!!

Hi!
Im trying to find the way to fix my Farfisa all over internet and i just can't find anything which would help me.

So bassicaly when you play the f-sharp or g-sharp key, the sound is totally out of tune and all you can hear is noise.
i've got a video showing the problem :

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f8vLC20-o3U

With some instruments ( Piccolo 4, Flute 4) it works fine but with others it doesn't at all. When only special effect is turned on just by itself , everything works fine. when you mix sounds of different instruments then again you can hear noise.
Automatic Bass works fine.
What should I do and which part gotta be replaced. At the end of video thra are few pictures of inside .

Thanks for help

Hi folks, this is my first post here. I've been presented with a reasonably tidy single-manual Compact that is missing it's internal powersupply and L/H cheek block.. Yep, all the essential stuff. So I need either the complete PSU/preamp/valve reverb driver chassis + cheekblock with switch, indicator, etc... or i need to build a complete new thing to slot straight in. Or the owner ends up selling it for spares. Is anyone out there prepared to part with the above?

My name is Alexandar...I have Farfisa Fast 4. I have some wires for output jacks disconnected (desoldered) on mine.
I just want to ask you to help me to connect wires properly cause I have no schematic and I can not find it nowhere. To make things clear....I am sanding picture of my farfisa...

If you have schematic or picture of that part of instrument...
It will help me to see how to solder wires correctly.

Thanks

Alex

p.s. my instrument gives very very weak signal with a lot of hum ....when I plug it on amplifier ... I can not locate where is the problem... it seems like preamplifier section in instrument do not work properly?

It is very important to me to find schematic...so if anyone have idea where to find it...

Muffle it somehow. Put a little foam over the vent? Just throwing random thoughts out there...
Good Luck,

Hello. I have just bought a Farfisa matador (1972 I think) off ebay but it is missing the pedal. Does anyone know where I might be able to purchase one? I am happy to import as I think they might be hard to source. Failing that, does anyone know if I can use another pedal instead? I have found out that it is an optical pedal but that's about all i know. any help or advice would be much appreciated! Thanks, matt / Mr Spygenius / devilstypist@hotmail.co.uk

If I ran across either of them in the wild I'd want a look too. If it was somebody I knew a little better than a random person off the street I'd surely ask to swap watches for a minute to see how it looked on the wrist.

Hi,

Not sure if you took the contact off with the key, but the contact sounds like your issue. I can't remember how exactly the Matador is set up, but it is one of two ways. A spring touches a metal bar to make the contact, or a piece of metal touches another piece of metal to make the contact. You need to adjust and/or clean the contacts until they make the right sound. I am told that cleaning is best with a product called Deox-it.

Good Luck,

Hi everyone, I own a Farfisa Matador-A which unfortunately fell off the stairs with me. I got it almost fixed (a few cosmetic issues, had to glue back some of the wooden parts that broke off, as for the rest there's only a slight hum, other than that it seems to work ok now)but the interval from two keys on the bass side that are next to each other causes me problems. Sometimes it acts as if there was a slight delay, but I think the problem is more a mechanical one. I went ahead and took one of the keys out, not knowing these can't be put back in without taking the whole thing apart..bad move. Does anyone know how to put the key back in properly and how to fix the problem I tried to describe (not sure if I managed well..)?
